Toilet maintenance Fund is a revolutionary concept implemented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to maintain the Schools toilets in a scientific and professional manner, by optimum utilization of human /financial resources to promote the health and self esteem of students, and contributing to improve leaning outcomes. Scheme is funded by the contribution from the Unique mothers. This scheme focus on : (i) providing clean and neat Toilets in all Government schools/ Junior Colleges , (ii) women empowerment by way of providing employment opportunity to 45,000 womenfolk, (iii) Capacity building and Training and Standard Operating Procedures (iv) Proving Cleaning Chemicals/ Cleaning Tools/ Accessories and Safety gear to workers (v) Four tier Monitoring System (vi) Voluntary donations and (vii) Community Participation.
